*Day 24 of our 30 Tips in 30 Days* Using the Appearance Panel in Illustrator
Creating logos and type treatments can be a lot of fun..IF you know which tools to use and when. Once you begin creating a mark in Illustrator and merging and outlining your type, there may come a point where you or a client decides to pull the rug out from under you and change the name or title that you worked so hard on creating, and worse, now you need to recreate the entire thing from scratch! Well, if you know how to use the Appearance Panel in Illustrator to your advantage you can create some really cool type treatments that will allow you to change the type at ANY time while keeping a certain look and feel. Think of it as a way to create 'presets' that will not only help you design more, but design better. In this lesson I will show you how you can get up and running with this incredibly useful feature in Illustrator.
