London's taxi drivers blocked central London's Bank Junction on Monday in protest over the traffic ban at the accident blackspot.
Cabbies plan to block the busy junction at rush hour every day this week.
The blockade was sparked by Transport for London's (TfL) decision to restrict use of the junction to buses only, ostensibly to reduce the number of cyclist and pedestrian casualties.
The protest comes five days after a similar demonstration on London Bridge after TfL banned taxi drivers from using a nearby bus lane.
