In addition to a few new in-game changes, there was a considerable amount of conversation today on the Tarkov Reddit, mainly criticizing that of the netcode that Tarkov employs.
This came on the heels of a video uploaded to Youtube by Markstrom: https://youtu.be/ogCfyC_W-HA
where he reacts to a clip of Summit1G being beaten courtesy of the same netcode issues.
Nikita in response, defended the netcode of the game, stating that it was the best that it's ever been and that the dev team is constantly working on it, with a view of the future in mind.
We review the particulars of what was said, discuss both viewpoints, and I share my take on the dealings of the day.
