Skyway Stage 3 opens to motorists
Building for the Future

The Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 (MMSS3) was officially inaugurated yesterday, 14 January 2021, with no less than President Rodrigo Roa Duterte as the Guest of Honor.
The MMSS3 project is one of the key projects of the Duterte administration's “Build Build Build Program,” and is aimed at helping decongest traffic in Metro Manila especially in Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and other major roads like C-5 (C.P Garcia) and Central Metro Manila.
This 18-kilometer Skyway Project is an elevated expressway from Buendia, Makati City to the North Luzon Expressway in Balintawak, Quezon City.
The construction of the mainline was completed from Buendia to Balintawak in December 2020, while the target completion of the construction of ramps will be in June 2021.
As a result, motorists will finally experience reduced travel time from Buendia to Balintawak from 2 hours to just 15 to 20 minutes.
Starting today, the mainline of Skyway Stage 3 will be open to the public. Motorists can seamlessly enjoy all access points and seven lanes on select areas for free until February 2021.
