In our previous video we have explained in detail about the bulk modulus. this video present detail explanation of shear modulus (also known as Rigidity modulus), shear stress and the shear strain.
we have provided detail animated free body diagrams for visulisation of the deforming forces acting on a crystall structure. shear stress is denoted by G and is equal to the shear stress divided by the shear strain. we have explained in detail about shear strain and stress.
