‘Preventing and Responding to Gender-Based Violence: Everyone has a Role to Play’
Published at : 08 Dec 2020
Increasing access to gender-based violence related multi-sectoral public services is a vital way of increasing the number of reporting and reducing gender-based violence. To accelerate concrete policy response and promote zero tolerance of gender-based violence across all spheres of society, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and its partners: Department of Women Affairs, ActionAid Bangladesh, Ain o Salish Kendra, and CARE Bangladesh with support from the Canadian Embassy and Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands have organized the online Live event ‘Preventing and Responding to Gender-Based Violence: Everyone has a Role to Play’. The event is organized with the spirit of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence and with the belief that with everyone’s commitment to unified actions, change is possible.
