Fix background noise in a microphone and get better audio for free
No matter what software you use to edit video, every content creator runs into the issue with audio and how to edit it to get better quality. I have struggled with better audio over the years of working on various different projects and I believe I found a really good resource that can help anyone do just that. The best part about it is that it is a free resource for a majority of online content creators.
How to use Auphonic for better quality audio
One of the most searched topics I see trending is how to remove static buzzing noise from your microphone on Windows 10 or Mac. It’s a problem, if you’ve spent a lot of time creating content, that we all have run into. Even if you have high quality equipment, if you have ever made a mistake in setup, a lot of times you don’t realize it until during the production process and that really sucks… I feel your pain…
Auphonic is a resource you can use on any project to enhance your recorded audio. It allows up to two hours of content for free every month, if you need more than that there are paid options for which to do so. But when searching for free audio editors for YouTube videos, two hours should be plenty for most creators, and every month your time reloads. I use this website for all my projects currently. My personal opinion is it's one of the better audio editing software out there and it's definitely the best audio editor for YouTube!
How to use Auphonic for better audio when creating video content
You will have to change your process for video editing if you want to utilize this software, what I normally do is organize all my video clips in the order I want them, add in my B-roll footage etc. Basically, the goal is to get everything into place and not add any extra sound effects or background music yet, all I'm doing is organizing my project with voice over to be the exact length so that when I export just the audio, I can import the edited audio file back into the project and literally just place it into the project without worrying about matching the sound to lip movements (which having to do that will make you want to quit pursuing your dreams on the spot).
