Just when you thought we were good, somethings got to throw another curve ball. IDK what to even say about this car anymore. So to start off the clicking noise, I am pretty sure I have identified it. The Journal where the intake cam sits had burrs on both sides of it. So whenever the lobe of the Brian Crower 272 Cam passed it and let the buckets retract they would hit the burr creating the clicking noise. Onto of that the Valve lash was wrong on 1 valve. But here is the kicker. Either all lashes are set right OR they're all set wrong. I am finding conflicting information about what to set lash to. Some BC Documents say to set the intake to .006" and the exhaust to .008" and others say to set the intake to .008" and the exhaust to .010". This car was suppose to be a daily and here we are... not knowing what is going to happen next.
