Instinct vs. Intention When Quitting Smoking

As smokers, our default was to react impulsively to every feeling we didn' like, distracting ourselves with a cigarette. Later, we quit smoking but can still merely distract ourselves by instinctively reach for other self-sabotaging 'crutches' like food - if we're to stay well and avoid a relapse, we need to practice the habit of mindful decision making.
