Fifteenth-century Dance performed by "Dance Past" at the Early Dance Circle Festival 2017 in Tadcaster. Dances performed are Nobile (Bassadanza - Guglielmo S c1470); Leonzello Vechio (Balio for 2 - Domenico Pd c1450); Leonzello Novo (Balio for 3 - Domenico Pd c1450); Marchexana (Balio for 2 - Domenico Pd c1450); and Verceppe (Balio for 5 - Domenico Pd c1450)
NOBILE: A recording of unknown provenance of Le Corps S’en Va , from the Lute Book by Pierre Attaignant 1529. A specific recording of Nobile can be found on the DHDS CD Una Festivita della Danza 2000, composed by Glynne Parry and played by the Bedford Waits.
