Complete Chord Mastery course: https://www.musictheoryforguitar.com/chords-and-harmony-guitar-lessons.html
This video has been requested by so many of you that I simply could not avoid shooting it :)
Today we learn together how to play 9th, 11th, 13th chords and we see the difference between, for instance, a "9th" chord and an "add9" chord. You will learn how to add chord tensions to your chords to make them sound wonderful.
Many of these chords will sound Jazzy, but you can definitely do much more than Jazz with them! (Metal songs are full of min add9 and min add11 chords...)
We also cover "stranger" chords like Cmaj9 or C7/b9, and we see what we can do when the chord has too many notes to be played on a guitar (chords like G13 have 7 notes in them... hard to play on a 6 string guitar!)
So if you don't know how to play chords like Am add11 or G9/#5, go and see the video and you'll learn all about them in less than 10 minutes ;-)
