Can dialogue end Moroccan illegal occupation and ensure the right to self-determination?
The continued occupation of Western Sahara constitutes a stumbling block to achieving a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the whole region.
Serious dialogue between Morocco and Western Sahara’s civil society can also help to clear up misunderstandings.
Indeed, no effort must be spared in promoting the path of dialogue and negotiation, which is the way that will enable the Saharawi people to freely express their right to self-determination and put an end to Moroccan illegal occupation.
