60 Second Lectures 2015: This Idea Must Die
Published at : 10 Dec 2020
What can you learn in 60 seconds?
The Loyolan and the LMU Honors Program partnered up for our annual 60 Second Lectures event, featuring professors from a variety of disciplines across LMU, on Oct. 21, 2015. This year, our theme took a cue from the popular Freakonomics podcast, asking each professor to deliver a 60-second lectures around the question, “What idea in your field should die?”
This annual project aims to expose the LMU community to exciting and forward-looking ideas and highlight the academic thought occurring on our campus every day. Plus, it's fun to see your favorite professor scramble to make a point in 60 seconds.
