Are you struggling with depression, but you are not sure if you have depression? The signs of depression can be very hard to spot, especially in high functioning depression (HFD). You can watch our video about high functioning depression here if you haven't: https://youtu.be/h50-JYAbKik
If you are not sure if you have depression or not, we recommend talking to a professional.
The word Depression often makes you feel embarrassed or ashamed. These feelings come from ourselves; or sometimes they’re put on us by other people.
Unfortunately, some stigma surrounding mental illness remains, but depression is an illness, not an embarrassing habit.
There are more than 300 million people of all ages worldwide are going through different types of depression every single day. You aren't alone. Nobody is perfect, so don't blame yourself for having it.
Be proud of who you are because living with depression is hard work and an obstacle every single day.

If you or someone you know is going through signs of depression, be sure to have them see a professional. There's no shame in being diagnosed for something that you are suffering from. Psychological illness like physical illness needs tending too.
